SlimDxControl and Direct2D

my goal is to draw a lot of SVG graphics in a WPF application. When googling at yahoo I found that using SlimDX would be a good idea. Next I found that drawing DirectX stuff to WPF control can be very painful. Here comes SlimDXControl into play, right?
I have read the examples (Triangle and Mouse) and I understand what they are doing.
What I don't understand is if it's possible to use Direct2D from SlimDX with SlimDXControl. If, yes, how? Do I have to render to a texture or something like that? Are there any examples showing how to use SlimDXControl with Direct2D?

Yes, DirectX is what SlimDXControl is for — but it's been a long time since I've touched that code, and I've not done any Direct2D code myself. It's probably straight-forward, but I'm afraid I can't help you.

How do I move the mouse in all directions? (ConvertToWorldCoordinates) I only know the x and y directions.
